● New aluminum auger barrel/case with upgraded stainless
studs/nuts instead of the original stainless bolts
● Includes roller stand, rubber covers, & extra clay cutting wire
This pugmill was disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. While trying to remove the factory bolts that attach the hopper to the barrel/case, they were seized and sheared off. This is a design flaw, since stainless bolts in an aluminum housing will bond/seize due to galvanic corrosion. I replaced the barrel with a new one, and upgraded the bolts to studs with nuts (see pics). That way only the nuts need be removed for disassembly.
