VINTAGE VIOLIN --- ERNST KREUSLER

ERNST KREUSLER VIOLIN --- hand made in Sachen, Germany.  I traced this violin back to The Davitt and Hanser Music Company. Cincinnati, Ohio 1938.  Andreas Amati copy.
Full size, measures 23-5/8" long, the back is 14-1/16", the upper bout is 6-3/8" and the lower bout is 7-7/8".  This vintage violin has a few nicks in the finish but it is solid with no cracks, open seams or repairs.  This violin plays and sounds great.
This violin has a new Bausch bridge, new ebony Parisian eye inlaid end pin and peg set that turn very smoothly and hold well.  New Dominant medium tension strings and a Wittner tail piece with built in fine tuners that turn easily and as smooth as butter.  New ebony chinrest
